• The administrator can even restart the unsuccessful auctions.
• The administrator can configure their email settings to send notification emails to customers.
• Attach a reserve price, which is the lowest price that must be reached to win.
• Option to define messaging models for different auction events.
• An administrator can configure auctions for several products at a time.

The installation and configuration flow

Auction configuration: –

After connecting the auction application to your SquareSpace store, go to application settings >> Application configuration

And inject the code according to the instructions.

Then, enter your email address and activate the Basage button if you wish to receive an email on each offer placed by customers.

The following administrator must configure the general parameters as follows: –

Show the current offer: – After activating this option, the current offer will be visible on the product page.

Show the number of offers: – After activating this option, the total number of tenders will be visible on the product page.

Return the price of the reserve: – The administrator can restrict the reserve price so that the purchase is not made if the last amount of the offer is less than the reserve price.

Decimal amount: – The administrator can allow bidders to enter in decimal value offers.

Overborn functionality: – Activate this option to inform bidders when they are bidder.

Amount to be paid by the winner of auction: – The amount to be paid by the auction winner can be set here.

• Winning offer: – In the event that the administrator selects this option, the amount of the auction is the only amount that the winner must pay.
• Percentage of the winning offer: – If the administrator puts the amount as a percentage, the Customer must pay the amount of the offer earning the amount of the percentage that the administrator applied.

Save the parameters once finished.

Add the auction to the products

Step 1: – After configuring the application, the administrator must synchronize the data by clicking on “Sync Products”.

The administrator can also make selective synchronization to synchronize only the selected products from Squarespace at the end of the auction application.

Step 2: – Click on the more “+” icon to add the auction to the products.

Step 3: – After clicking on the icon plus, he opens the page where you have to fill the Details of product auctions.

Click on Select products On which you want to define the auctions (you can select a maximum of 10 products at a time).

• If you want to automatically start the auction on the product, activate the “Activate”Automatic start -up auction” button.

• Now enter the following price details:
  • Basic price, That is to say the minimum price from which the offer will begin.
  • Reserve price That is to say the minimum auction price below which the administrator will not sell the product.
  • You must define the duration of the time by specifying the start / end date and end of the auction.

Step 4: – You can display the complete details of the auctions in the “Auction sales»Application section.

In addition, you can change the details of the auction and manually stop the auction on the product.

Note – You can delete these products from the end of the application of auction on which you do not wish to apply the auctions via the loose / simple deletion option as indicated below –

In addition, you can delete the auctions you no longer want at the end of the auction application.

Messaging model –

Under messaging model, go manage the model. Here, the administrator can add / modify the messaging models that are sent for each event.

After the end of the auctions, the administrator may see information on the tender and the contact details of the winner and can also inform the winner of the auctions.

If in one way or another, the notified winner does not buy the product, the administrator will be able to inform the alternative winners.

The email is sent when the administrator informs the winner. Mail has the link to buy the auction product you have won.
