The WooCommerce POS Happy Hours plugin allows Store Admin to provide discounts during the happy hours designated in their sales.
It gives the administrator the possibility of implementing several reduction rules for specific products, categories or total basket amounts.
The administrator has the possibility of modifying the labels for various areas such as the text of the countdown to countdown, the title of the Happy Hour and the reduction text of the Happy Hour.
They can also decide to provide discounts to all customers or discounts or simply to discounts. The discounts can be a defined amount or a percentage, allowing more flexible pricing options.
Note:
- The administrator has the possibility of configuring labels for fields such as the text of the countdown and the title of Happy Hour.
- The administrator can establish several rules for discounts during the Happy Hour.
- The system helps the administrator to apply reduction rules to certain products, product categories or on total Cart amounts.
- POS users can offer HAPPY HOUR discounts to customers during the specified period of HAPPY HOUR.
- The administrator can decide to apply a Happy Hour rule to all customers or simply to specific those.
- The discounts can be a fixed amount or a deactivation percentage.
- A special reduction rule for the HAPPY HOUR can be activated or deactivated if necessary.
- Hours of the start and end of the Happy Hour can be defined for the date and time.
The user will obtain a zip file which he must download in the “Add new” Menu option in the WordPress administration panel.
To do this, connect to the WordPress administration panel then under the dashboard, fly over your mouse on the “Plugins” Menu option that highlights a submenu then select the “Add new” option.
After that, you will see an option at the top of your page which is “Download the plugin”Now click on the option to download the Zip file.
By clicking on the “Download the plugin” Option, below that you will see a button “Choose a file” Click on the button to browse the zip file depending on the instantaneous below.

After browsing the file, click on the “Install now” Button to install the plugin according to the snapshot.

Now when the plugin is installed correctly, you will see the success message and an option to activate the plugin.
Now now click on “Activate the plugin” To activate the installed plugin.

Configuration of the WooCommerce POS Happy Hours plugin
Once the plugin is successfully installed, the administrator configures the Happy Hours plugin. At the start, they sail towards Point of sale> Settings> HAPPY HOURS.
Here, they obtain the possibility of defining the labels for various fields according to the image below,

The following fields are available to be modified,
- Countdown Timer Text
- HAPPY HOUR title
- Title of costs to reduce HAPPY HOURS
- HAPPY HOUR reduction text
Create a HAPPY HOUR rule
Once the labels have been defined, the administrator is now adding Happy Hour reduction rules. They sail towards Point of sale> HAPPY HOURS. The page is displayed according to the image below,

Now, to create a new rule, the administrator is typing on the Add a new button. After that, they are redirected to a new page where they can add information and conditions for the new Happy Hour reduction rule.

On this page, the administrator obtains the following options,
Add the happy hour
- Rule – Enter the name of the rule
- Rule type – Enter the type of rule
- Rule status – Activate or deactivate the status of the rules
- Start date – Define the start date of the rule
- End date – Define the end date of the rule
- Start time – Define the start time of the rule
- End time – Define the end time of the rule

After configuring the fields as needed, the administrator operates the Save the rule button to add the rule to the list.
The store administrators define the rules of the Happy Hour. When a condition is fulfilled, the system automatically applies these rules to the POS panel and posters them to the POS user.
Check below how the HAPPY HOUR reductions are visible and provided according to products, product categories and total trolleys.
HAPPY HOUR PRODUCT
The administrator selects specific products on which the delivery of the Happy Hour must be applicable. Once the POS user has added the specific product to the point of sale basket, the discount is automatically applied.

The details of reduction of the happy hour are also reflected in the invoice according to the image below,

Category Result of the Happy Hour
When a customer adds a product in this category to the basket and the delivery rule allows a delivery of the happy hour, the system automatically applies the discount.

Total revain based on the basket
If the administrator defines the reduction of the Happy Hour according to the total of the basket and the total of the basket in the specified beach, the system automatically applies the discount.

For the total basket delivery also, the discount amount is also reflected in the invoice,

The priority to apply Happy Hour discounts in the event that several rules are active at the same time work as follows in this plugin – Product> Category> Total basket.
